How to List

You need two things before listing a project on Gadget Market:

  1. built + functional project
  2. project flyer

Didn't get your project funded originally through Gadget Market, but still want to trade with others? There is a separate flow for that, please read the Existing PCBs page!

Built project

Your project needs to be physically working in order to be put on the market!

You also need a demo video for your project. This is what others will be watching when deciding whether they want to trade with you!

It should be <2min, and showcase the project working. You are free to add voiceover if you want. Explain your project and show it off!

It should be published on YouTube - you are free to make it either unlisted or public!

Put pictures of the built project in the README.md of your repo! Remember to also journal hours spent building it.

Flyer

You must make a flyer for your project! This is the poster that's posted on the landing of Gadget Market.

Dimensions: 600 x 800px - please make sure your file is this exactly!

I'd recommend making it in Figma!

Remember that it will be pretty small on the landing, so small text won't be legible!

Include:

  • name of project
  • picture(s) of the project - this should be at least 40% of the flyer!
  • your slack handle / name
  • any other information you want!

Where do I put it?

After you're done making the demo video and flyer, make a post in #gadget-market-listings!

In your message, make sure you include:

  • GitHub repo link
  • YouTube demo link
  • IRL photos of your project!
  • Description explaining what your project does!
  • Project flyer!
